The Alan P. Linton Jr. Cold Weather Shelter
- Inter-church service projects
supported by our church (homeless shelter, CROP Walk for Hunger, refugee
resettlement, Rebuilding Together, Church Women United, etc.).
- Church facilities used by many
community organizations and area mission groups.
- Major Support for Our Church's Wider
Mission - the work of the United Church of Christ across the nation and
around the world.
- Support for Lancaster Theological Seminary.
- Liberal donations to community
ministries ( Religious Coalition, Heartly House, Mission of Mercy, Habitat for Humanity, Camp Jamie,
Soup Kitchen, etc.).
- International partnership -
visits and work projects with church friends in Honduras and the former East Germany.
- Counseling and other support
provided to persons and families in need.
- Support for Alzheimer's
Association, ARC of Frederick County, Families Plus, Frederick County Mental
Health Association, Peace Resource Center and the American Red Cross.
